OUGD503 Brief 2, Collaborative Practice - Experimentations in the group

On todays group we decided on what we should be doing today, this influenced us to create a structured time plan so we could work to a deadline and a brief outline of where we want to be in the brief.


Time plan for YCN fish brief Week 1 - Initial research - done - looked into sustainable plastics Week 2 - further research and experimenting with illustration/artwork - 1st Feb Homework - research structural packaging solutions Week 3 - Decide on which packaging we are going to use - Meet on Wednesday - 12:30 - 8th Feb Week 4 - Apply artwork to packaging - 15th Feb Week 5 - Development and collateral - 22nd Feb Two weeks to finalise designs and collateral Book photography slot for 14th March Then do presentation boards and submit


So after creating a time plan, we began to get creative with mixed media to get our creative juices flowing the idea was that by having fun in a group we could ideally use our outcomes into the packaging and even the collateral some of our images have turned out really interesting and different, my favourite technique was using brusho this created a really colourful scene that could represent a water setting for the fish.
