OUGD503 Brief 2, Collaborative Practice - Photo shoot

After printing and setting up our packaging we as a group set up some camera kit to take some professional photos worthy of a competition, Cameron took the images, me and amy were in charge of lighting and product placements. The packaging photos took really well, but it was hard to figure out the right position to take photos for the fish magnets. Originally we wished to take the photos of the magnets in context this wasn't possible because non of us had access to clean magnetic surface like a fridge, this was slightly disappointing as I felt this would excentuate the design.

A lot of our photos needed to be edited, mainly this was because of an error I had made when printing the designs, I forgot to remove the white cutter this meant there was white edges on corners this fortunately was easily corrected through photoshop.

After looking and editing through our photos we picked a small selection of what we could use for the presentation, we picked around ten high quality images that could and will be used. The main reason for the images we chose was because of the proffessional appearance and the way in which it highlights specific areas needed for the explanation of our products/designs.
